Pricing integrity policy
QuoteSure does not generate local market price ranges from AI knowledge, generic web snippets, or unsupported assumptions. If the evidence is not strong enough, we say so.
A report must show its confidence, exact geography label, independent sample count, recency, scope match, evidence type, and exclusions. County, metro, and state evidence is always labeled as regional—not local.

Methodology
Only opt-in, anonymized, scope-normalized customer estimates and completed invoices may enter the evidence pool. They remain distinct in storage, matching, calculation, and disclosure. QuoteSure does not currently use a licensed third-party transaction-price feed.
Daily evidence aggregation excludes repeat quotes from the same contractor fingerprint, duplicate document fingerprints, stale records, and materially different scopes. Personal names, contractor identities, documents, and addresses never appear in public cards or pricing explanations.
A local result requires evidence from the same coded local area. When local evidence does not qualify, QuoteSure may use county, metro, or state context only when it is visibly labeled REGIONAL with the actual geography. It is never called local.
BLS PPI or wage data, BEA regional-price data, Census permit activity, NOAA weather context, and DOE or ENERGY STAR specifications may help explain local conditions or scope. They never independently create a QuoteSure price range. Every displayed result is informational context, not a contractor bid, and includes evidence dates, independent sample count, geography, estimate-versus-invoice mix, scope-match characteristics, confidence, and key exclusions.
